Late Arrivals, Cancellations & No-Show Policy

Late Arrivals:
If you arrive more than 5 minutes past your scheduled appointment time without prior notice, your appointment will be considered a "no-show." If you anticipate being late, you must call or text. Depending on the time available, you may need to reschedule. If rescheduling or cancellation is necessary due to a late arrival, a cancellation fee for the scheduled services will apply. By booking your appointment online, you agree to these terms.

Cancellations:
Please cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance. Emergencies happen—I understand. You may make changes, including rescheduling, up to 6 hours before your appointment. For cancellations within the 6-hour window, please contact me directly via phone, text, or email.

No-Shows:
Failure to show up for your appointment without notice will result in the applicable cancellation fee being charged. Unpaid balances from no-shows or late cancellations must be settled before scheduling future appointments. By booking, you agree to these terms, and unpaid balances will be treated seriously.

No Children Policy

No Children Policy

We kindly ask that no children be brought into the salon. While we understand how challenging it can be to arrange childcare, this policy is in place for the safety and comfort of everyone. The salon contains sharp tools, hot wax, and chemicals that could pose a danger to children.

Additionally, our space is designed as a relaxing environment for adults to unwind and enjoy their services. This policy ensures a safe and peaceful experience for all our guests. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Pre-Waxing Prep: How to Get Ready for Your Appointment

Exfoliate & Moisturize
Gently exfoliate 1-2 days before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores, helping to prevent ingrown hairs. Keep your skin well-moisturized, but avoid heavy lotions on the day of your waxing.

  1. Shower
Arrive freshly showered and completely dry to ensure your skin is clean and ready for treatment.

  2. Grow It Out
Let your hair grow to at least 1/4 inch long (about the length of a grain of rice). Avoid shaving for at least three weeks before your appointment to prevent irritation, ingrown hairs, or infections.

  3. Take a Pain Reliever
If you're worried about discomfort, take a pain reliever like Advil or ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appointment.

  4. Dress Comfortably
Wear loose-fitting clothing to allow your skin to breathe and heal post-wax.

  5. Skip the Tan
Avoid sunless tanning or direct sun exposure before your appointment, as this can make your skin more sensitive.

Can I get waxed while on my period?

Can I Get Waxed While on My Period?
Absolutely! However, be aware it may feel more painful and take longer to recover during this time. To help, drink plenty of water in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment, as hydration is key.

For sanitary reasons, I kindly ask that you arrive clean and prepared. If you’re using a tampon, ensure it’s fresh and the string is tucked in. If you use a menstrual cup, please empty it just before your appointment.

Aftercare is especially important during your period:

  • You may notice some redness or irritation for 1–2 days.

  • Avoid exfoliating products, hot water, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise during this time.

Remember, your waxing schedule should fit your life—not the other way around. You can wax whenever it works best for you!

If I start waxing , how often should I do it?

How Often Should I Wax?
Hair growth cycles vary, but here’s a general guideline:

  • Face waxing: Every 2–3 weeks

  • Body waxing: Every 3–4 weeks

I’ll provide personalized recommendations for your next appointment at checkout to ensure the best results for your hair type and growth cycle!

Can I Wax While Pregnant?

Absolutely, Mama! In fact, I recommend regular waxing throughout your pregnancy to make it more comfortable and less painful. Just remember to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water for 24 hours before your appointment.

Why Does It Matter What Medications I’m On?

Certain medications can make your skin more sensitive and prone to damage. It’s important to check for any cautions about skin sensitivity before your appointment. Medications like Accutane, Retin-A, and steroidal antibiotics are common contraindications for waxing, as they can increase the risk of irritation or injury.
